Cranberries typically make me think of fall, specifically Thanksgiving. But the minute I squeezed out a dollop of Dial's new Antioxidant Body Wash with Cranberry & Antioxidant Pearls, I felt like I was in the middle of spring, surrounded by refreshing fruity smells. It is delicious! Since it seems like antioxidants are in everything and can't do wrong, why not have them in your body wash. They are supposed to reveal healthy, younger-looking skin which is great for everyone. And you smell good in the process, since it smells like a tall, refreshing glass of cranberry juice. And right now if you go to Dial's website, you can print a $1 off coupon. Cheap and Yummy, what's not to love?!

You better act quickly, if you haven't gotten your mom anything yet for mother's day. Its THIS sunday. Here is an idea:
Kiehl’s has added Gardenia as a permanent fragrance in its line of Hand and Body Lotions and Liquid Body Cleansers. Who doesn't love a little, or in this case, a whole lot of gardenia?! It is a classic womanly scent your mom is sure to enjoy. Give her the body cleanser to use in the shower and then make sure the fragrance lasts by having her rub on the lotion right after.
Kiehl’s Gardenia Hand and Body Lotion and Kiehl’s Gardenia Liquid Body Cleanser is just $35.

I have found a way to indulge in deliciousness without indulging in the calories that usually go along with it: Jaqua Raspberry Buttercream Frosting Shower Creme. This body wash wraps you in the yummy scent of raspberries and cream, while moisturizing every part of you with fruit and aloe extracts, macadamia and evening primrose oils, and vitamins B5, A and E. It is certainly not a replacement for yummy sweets you eat, but it might delay your craves for a time.
I'm not usually a fan of sweet, dessert smelling body products, but their packaging is so girly and cute, which is great for gifts. I gave the set of 3 Lip Whips - Cocoa Buttercream Frosting, Pink Buttercream Frosting and Raspberry Buttercream Frosting to a friend as a little gift. The hydrating formula contains vitamin E and other nourishing ingredients, so they taste good and keep your lips kissable soft.

Fun and fancy soaps and lotions are even more fun and fancy when them come from small, independent businesses. I love the idea of creating super natural, hand-made bath and body products myself. Maybe some day I will, but until then I will support those people that already have started their businesses, like Naked Bath and Body products.Naked Body+Bath is the brainchild of three Houstonian businesswomen who are proud to offer clients their natural recipes in the forms of unique, handcrafted soaps, bath salts, scrubs, and bath bombs. Most of which are customizable as they are fragrance-free and uncolored – a blank canvas that enables clients to tailor products exactly to their individual preference or need by choosing from additions including: a vast fragrance selection, colors, and specific blends that cater to needs of individual skin types. Before any additions, ALL products are 100% natural, and even after fragrance oils and color are added, Naked adamantly sticks to a promise of 95% all natural ingredients. That is pretty cool, huh?!
Below are a few of the most distinctive features about Naked Body + Bath:
As you may have noticed, I'm CRAAAAZY obsessed with all things GRAPEFRUIT. It is kind of an addiction. But hey, at least I know for sure (more or less) if it has grapefruit in it, I'm going to like it. Here are some of my latest grapefruit finds:Neutrogena Body Clear Body Wash in Pink Grapefruit: This cheapy drugstore body wash has the scent I love and a bit of salicylic acid to keep body breakouts at bay. It even has little pink scruby beads for mild exfoliation. What a better scent to wake up to, huh?
Sephora Indulgences Pink Grapfruit Body Smoother: This giant tub of gooy body scub is a grapfruit lovers heaven. It lathers nicely and leaves a faint feeling of moisture and scent. After a long scrub in the shower (usually have to turn off the water to get the suds going without having them wash off) I feel fresh and sooo very clean. It is on sale now for $15 so I'm not sure how much longer it will be around.
Marc Jacobs Splash in Grapefruit: This limited edition perfume is really a dream come turn for me. I always love scents with grapefuit in them, but this one concentrates on it the most, adding a touch of ginger and white musk for some depth only. It is a perfect summer day scent, to cool you off during the heat. It is light enough that you can spray it everywhere... and you better believe I will. The huge 10oz eau de toilette is only $68. Not bad, but I wonder how long that will really last me.
Nothing makes me happier in the morning than jumping in a hot shower, grabbing my huge body puff, squirting on a gigantic dollop of body wash, and sudsing up to my hearts content. I want the scent of my shower to remind me of the pleasures in life and Philosophy does it best. Right now I'm indulging in Key Lime Pie every morning, which on fortunately is no longer available. But next time I think I'll try Mimosa. A perfect start to a morning, hung over or not, without the sleepy after effects like the drink. Sound good to you? $16 for 16oz of alcohol-free fun.

As the weather warms up in SF, I start to enjoy all the things that come with the sun. This includes fabulous fruits and flowers that bloom in spring. My favorite thing in my shower right now comes from... you guessed it: Sephora! I love their new colorful bath product collection. The packaging is sharp and clean yet bright and colorful with tons of delicious innovative scents to try. My first was Peach Blossom. The whole collection it great, but I especially love the body scrub. Just a little dollop on my body puff and I get tons of scrubby suds to exfoliate the winter away!

I could post a new post everyday about The Body Shop, that is how much I love them, evident in the fact that I am up for my second "gift" for the second time this year. The Love Your Body Rewards Club was the best thing that ever happened to me. I didn't even pay for it initially since it was my birthday month. I am addicted to their body butter, as I have mentioned before. I can't shave my legs if I don't have any to smooth on afterwards. Their shower gels are awesome, my roommates always comment on how good my showers smell! I have just started to discover their makeup line, which was recently revamped. Their skin care lines are extensive, with something for every skin type, and they are having a sale right now. That is my favorite thing about The Body Shop, all their great sales and promos. The semi-annual sales are AMAZING, held around July and right after Christmas every year. I get body butters and showers gels for a fraction of the price (i.e. $4 instead of $20). Its rediculous!
Anyways. I'll stop gushing and just give you the stats on the Love Your Body card because I think it is the best deal around, and even if you have to pay the $10 fee, it pays for its self a dozen times over!
