Kill Dry Hands With L'Occitane Hand Cream Trio

I spent the three day weekend having the time of my life with 20 of my closest friends in a gorgeous rental house up in Sonoma county. It was flippin amazing. Beautiful weather the whole time and so much fun! After a long day of wine tasting, all we wanted to do was lay out on the deck and enjoy the hot tub. But after three days of this, my skin was not very happy with me! The tub dried me out so very much. So I was so glad I had picked up extra sets of L'Occitane Hand Cream Trios over the holidays. In fact, they are still on sale on their website and you might be able to find them in stores as well. The set contains rose, honey and lemon, and cherry blossom. I love the rose scented one, but they are all very nice. They go on smooth and my hands suck in the moisture from the shea butter so well. Seriously, I have one in every purse, one at my desk and one by my bed. So very necessary! And for $21 for 3, you should stock up too! Also, the body cream trio is great too, and also $21! At least this economy is helping my habits... eck!

L'Occitane Hand Cream Trio Gift Set

I have written about how much I LOVE L'Occitane's hand creams before, but I have to say they are simply the best I've found. The little tubes are easily transported in your purse. The shea butter moisture is unbeatable, even in the harsh winter months. And I enjoy the plain one just as much as the scented varieties. Although the little tubes maybe seem on the pricey side ($10 for 1oz.), they last a very long time and are well worth the money. So this is why I snatched up one of the Hand Cream Trio sets at Sephora the minute I saw it. $25 for three is a steal, and I am excited to try the cherry blossom scent. It will be hard to give this gift set away, but I know it is the right thing to do this holiday season. The people I love deserve soft hands too. I guess...

Aveda Limited Edition Pink Ribbon Hand Relief

I actually wrote about Aveda's Hand Relief just over a year ago, right when I was starting out this little site of mine. Oh, memories! But seriously, it is a great hand lotion and honestly, I'm not sure why I stopped using it. It smells divine and really moisturizes without getting your hand all sticky.

Now I have a reason to go get another bottle! Aveda is offering a special limited edition Breast Cancer Awareness Hand Relief It is a larger sized bottle (5 oz. instead of 4.5 oz.) and they are pledging to donate $4 from every sale (it retails for $20) to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation to fund environmental research to help find a cure, with a maximum donation of $300,000. I call that relief!

To top that off, if you enter the code WORLDPINK at checkout, you get free ground shipping! Nice stuff, huh?!

Soften Your Hands With L'Occitane Honey & Lemon

I'm not sure when I became addicted to hand cream, but it is a fact of life now. I need to have some in my purse wherever I go. It has to be in a small tube and, most importantly, not make my hands sticky! L'Occitane really knows what they are doing when it comes to hand cream. If you haven't tried their original hand cream, you must! It has just the right amount of shea butter to soften dry, tight skin and keep your cuticles in check, without being overly thick.

The latest, limited edition I might add, scent for their hand cream is Honey and Lemon. I squirted some on in the store and was in heaven. For some reason it reminds me of a summer country day, maybe on a farm or something. The scent is subtle and yet delicious. Pick up a 1 oz. tube online or in stores for only $10 and it will last you a few months a least, a little goes a long way. Try it!

natural goodness

I never felt the need to use hand lotion until I started working full time in an office. Washing your hands continually with industry soap in the restroom makes my hands all dry and unhappy, especially in the winter months. Normally, if I use hand lotion I just want to wipe it off right away because it makes my hands all slimy and useless.

Then I went to my local Aveda store a few months back... oh god, has it been a year?! Time flies... and got roped into their membership points plan because the $10 fee came with this cute bag with samples of their Shampure Shampoo & Conditioner, Foot Relief, and my new best friend, Hand Relief. Haven't really used the other items much, but I took the little Hand Relief to work one day, and my life hasn't been the same since. It smell is subtle so it won't bother yours neighbors, and it absorbs really quickly, leaving your hands moisturized without that sticky, slimy feeling. I can start typing right after I put it on. I think it smells like herbal tea, the website says it has licorice extract, meadowfoam seed oil, and vitamins A and E in it. I went back and bought the full size for $18 and it has lasted me over 3 months! A little goes a long way. Continual use is supposed to increase moisture levels and elasticity...anti-aging for your hands! Its fabulous!
