I have a weakness for eyeshadow, so I can't believe that yesterday was the first post I have done on an eyeshadow I love. 90% of my makeup collection is eyeshadow from countless different brands. I especially love eyeshadow palettes. You get a set of different colors that compliment each other and make creating new looks fun and easy.
I have been reading articles and reviews for Bobbi Brown's new eyeshadow collections, Metallics, long before they were even available back in August. Its a big step for Bobbi, a slight move away from super natural makeup, but she does it with such class. It wasn't until I saw this picture on Bobbibrown.com that I was convinced I have to have one of the new palettes:
This look, featured in Marie Claire's September issue, is absolutely beautiful. I love how the inner corners of her eyes are glowing. The Bobbi Brown website has a whole article detailing how the "Get the Most-Wanted Look: Metallics" complete with eyeshadow, gel eyeliner, lip gloss, blush...everything! I think I'm going to pick up at least the Midnight Metallics set. It will definitely highlight my baby blues!

I agree these metallic looks are to die for! And the Midnight palette would do wonders for blue eyes. Let us know what it looks like on you!
I really love greens and purples. I think I'll go check out her Velvet Plum or Forest palette.
